Bo Lundberg started to draw early at an age of 4 years, sitting on the kitchen table. He enjoyed escaping in imaginary worlds.

Bo studied graphic design, art direction and illustration. Today he is a well-known Illustrator and graphic designer, living and working in Stockholm, Sweden.

Fine Art Planet is pleased to offer his amazing series “Around the world, cities and countries”. This colorful modern vintage posters with images based on iconic buildings and design objects from all over the world are a personal project. It all began in 2012 when Bo imagined that he was a designer during the sixties who just had been asked to come up with a travel poster. How cool is that?

Our printing partner decided to print these wonderful illustrations on one of the most precious Giclée Fine Art Papers: Hahnemühle Photo Rag. The combination of matte finish and amazing clear details makes this paper one of our most popular ones. It produces muted blacks with even color reproduction and really excellent detail. The surface has a minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates very smooth color gradients.

The difference to other, cheaper papers is huge. We are sure you will be greatly impressed as soon as you hold one of these high-quality prints in your hand.

We are not alone with our excitement about Bo, this is what Voir Magazine writes about him:

"If ever there was a contemporary artist whose work could mistakenly be positioned in the glamorous vaults of the past, Bo Lundberg is that artist. With a palette for exquisite simplicity, elegant color, striking graphic elements and a hint of abstraction, his oeuvre oozes retro cool." (Voir Magazine)
